
Bob King Elected to TREIA Board
On Monday, December 7, Good Company President Bob King was announced as one of six newly elected members on the board of the Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association (TREIA). The six new board members are:

Kevin Gresham, E.ON Climate & Renewables North America, Austin, TX
John Hoffner, CH2M Hill, Austin, TX
Robert J. “Bob” King, Good Company Associates, Austin, TX
Billy J. “B. J.” Stanbery, HelioVolt Corporation, Austin, TX
Robert A. “Bob” Webb, Biofuels Power Corporation, Austin, TX
King is honored to be elected to the board of TREIA, a group he helped organize in 1983. In a message to TREIA membership prior to the vote, King said, “Efficiency and renewable energy are increasingly being recognized as real resources for our state, now, with the potential for leading us out of the economic doldrums. But the market, policy and politics is growing more complex, as clean solutions emerge and as we begin to challenge the status quo. The depth and diversity of our experience at Good Company Associates will contribute to TREIA’s continuing effectiveness.”

The Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association is a statewide non-profit organization of companies and individuals involved in solar, wind, biomass, geothermal and hydro electric energy products and/or services. TREIA publishes renewables market research and industry industry news. It also organizes conferences, workshops, and seminars to market its members and educate the public about renewable energy. As a representative of Texas’ renewable energy industries, TREIA provides advice and leadership on policy issues to government and industry bodies in Texas and across the U.S.
